I’m an Indian tog birding in Shanghai since July 2011. Birding once started as an hobby, turned into passion and now become an obsession.

Why game birds?

China has the greatest diversity of game birds of any country on earth with 51 species of pheasant and partridges, 8 species of grouse. But on other hand, the game birds are hunted down for “Wild” cuisine and souvenirs.   Through my site i would be promoting the birding in China and their huge wealth of bird life. As i’m living in Shanghai, it’s the hotspot on East Asian-Australian flyway, one of the world’s great flyway’s, i will bring out more news about birding in and around Shanghai especially during the autumn/spring migration.
